I was born in Chicago and grew up in San Jose, California. I attended Chico State University where I earned a degree in computer science and business administration.

Prior to joining Watkins Wellness in 2020, I held a variety of IT technology and leadership roles and led numerous large-scale, transformational projects. Additionally, I managed many development and support projects and implemented and supported ERP, CRM, EPM and PLM projects for large companies such as Qualcomm and Western Digital. These experiences prepared me for my role as Director, IT at Watkins, where I am responsible for leading the IT team in both the long-range, strategic planning for our technology infrastr ucture and the day-to-day support that is always required of an IT organization.

I am passionate about IT because I believe it can make a positive difference in what is already a great company. Technology alone is rarely the answer for a business problem, but technology change combined with process and organizational change management can make a huge impact. Working with the entire organization to drive large-scale, positive change while having fun along the way is what I enjoy most about what I do.

When interviewing for my position at Watkins, I was interested in joining a smaller organization where I could make a real impact. Watkins offered the size I was looking for and also impressed me with the genuine passion of everyone I spoke to during the interview process. In my 3+ years at Watkins I’ve found that the passion of our people to get things done and work as a team is our best asset as an organization.

I have been married for 32 years and have two children. We are a family of dog lovers; anyone that has been on a video call with me knows that we have two energetic dogs that keep us busy and entertained. My hobbies include working on vintage cars and motorcycles, hiking, and wine tasting.
