Brent Marinelli

Sr. Vice President of Finance, CFO

Brent Marinelli
I grew up in southeast Ohio and earned my degree in international business, finance and history from Ohio University. Early in my career, I spent several years working at Avery Dennison before relocating to Greensboro, North Carolina with my wife, Angela, for a job at Danaher Corporation. While in Greensboro, my daughter, Kaitlyn, and son, Liam, were born.

We moved to Michigan in 2011 to be closer to family, and I spent eight years working in the automotive industry before joining Masco Corporation as Group Finance Director. While at Masco, I had the opportunity to observe Watkins Wellness and work closely with its leadership team, and was quickly impressed with the quality of both the people and the organization. I enjoy roles where I am part of a business and part of a team, and where I feel I can make a difference. These factors are what drew me to Watkins and ultimately spurred me to join the Watkins team in 2023, as Sr. VP Finance & CFO. I have always enjoyed working with numbers and finance, but I’m also passionate about working with people; my role at Watkins allows me to do both.

My philosophy when assessing any new situation or organization is to look for the “three Ps:” Positive, Passionate, and Proactive. I’ve found all three traits in the people at Watkins and embedded in the company’s values. The culture of the organization and the enjoyment our employees derive from their work really shine through. This is an exciting time at Watkins; I’m happy to be here and look forward to where the business is going and how I can make an impact.

On the personal side, I enjoy spending time with my wife and two children and can often be found out and about at my kids’ activities. We do a lot of traveling as a family and, as we are new to San Diego, have recently been exploring the area and starting to enjoy all that it has to offer.
