We are seeking a Warranty Specialist to join our Customer Service team!


IN A NUTSHELL

Are you driven by data and customer centric? The Warranty Specialist position will be responsible for reviewing and processing warranty claims in addition to generating warranty claim data reports, interpreting data, analyzing results, finding trends, and using data information to gain insights into product field performance. This position will report to the Warranty Supervisor. The successful candidate will have the ability to provide clear and concise information for both internal and external needs, as well as be able to collect and interpret data to generate meaningful warranty reports.


IS THIS YOU?

  • Are you analytical? You will identify, analyze, and interpret claim trends or patterns, generating reports on a regular and ad hoc basis as needed.
  • Do you have strong data mining skills? You will apply your expertise in data mining and analysis to explore historical data and discover patterns to support adequacy of returns.
  • Are you customer focused? You will review and process warranty claims, elevating any warranty claim related issues that require management review or input to ensure the utmost customer satisfaction.
  • Are you solutions minded? You’ll also research claim data and warranty histories to successfully respond and address complex dealer inquiries.
  • Are you database savvy? You will assist with Warranty Database administrative duties and tasks.

WHAT YOU NEED

  • Bachelor's degree in data analysis, service support or related field preferred; or equivalent combination of education and/or experience.
  • 1-2 years experience in warranty claims a plus.
  • Proficient user in MS Office suite, specifically Excel, databases and reporting software. Proficiency in Access and Visio are a plus.
  • Must be able to prepare reports, worksheets, charts, schedules, procedures, and other data as necessary.
  • Excellent customer service to include phone and email etiquette with the ability to articulate information in a professional and thoughtful manner.
  • Strong problem-solving skills are necessary to be successful in this role.
  • Must be detail-oriented, able to prioritize, multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
