Masco Cabinetry has an immediate opening for a Warehouse Supervisor at our Culpeper, VA plant!

The Plant Warehouse Supervisor supports plant KPIs by execution of strategic elements within his/her assigned departments. These departments would typically be focused on inventory and parts flow to production areas with additional focus on the purchasing cycle and its impacts on materials delivery and ongoing supply chain balance.

Key Job Responsibilities:

  • Execute ongoing warehouse strategy elements necessary for Masco Cabinetry’s success.
  • Use MOS and Lean tools to creatively exceed assigned department’s Safety, Quality, Cost, and Delivery Metrics
  • Maintain and initiate standard maintenance and improvement within assigned departments primarily through standard work and MOS.
  • Supervise assigned staff, including management of training, cross training, vacation and timekeeping, and general team member performance documentation
  • Support plant objectives by initiating and implementing inventory accuracy improvements and standards maintenance.
  • Support plant objectives through initiation and execution of KATA and Kaizen in warehouse activities.
  • Serve as production contact for day to day warehouse and parts concerns.
  • Serve as production source for standard manufacturing information from Oracle.
  • Serve as part of the IT escalation plan for receiving/shipping issues.
  • Serve as part of the data validation process by identifying items with repetitive failures in delivery.

Position Requirements:

  • Strong technology skills
  • Strong understanding of Purchasing and Inventory Management Strategies
  • Basic understanding of Lean Manufacturing Strategies

Preferred Skills:

  • B.S. in Business or related field
  • Oracle EBS and ASCP experience
  • SQL experience
