HOURS: Monday - Friday 7:00AM-3:30PM

Summary

Responsible for functioning as a back-up for the many functions in the Display Department, including by not limited to materials management, moving product using powered industrial trucks or by hand, building displays, tracking display projects (using computer skills) and assisting with order picking and RGAs to ensure we meet our customer commitments.

Responsibilities Include:

  • Moves product as needed by using both manual and non-manual order management processes (picking orders, moving product, tracking the movement of product in our systems, assisting with returned goods, etc.)
  • Operates RF scanner as needed to appropriately convey transations of product and displays in Liberty systems.
  • Drive electric powered industrial trucks equipped with lifting devices such as forklift or elevating platform, to push, pull, lift, stack, tier or move product, boxes, pallets and/or materials.
  • Performs general construction, such as building displays, installing Liberty product, suggests modifications and improvements. 
  • Assembly tasks involving and fitting parts to very close tolerances and working with parts that require special handling, and the use of specialized tools (such as hand tools, instruments for calibration, etc.)
  • Uses various computer systems, email, etc. to communicate, track projects, etc.
  • Consistently meets daily productivity and safety goals.
  • Utilize appropriate personal protective equipment.
  • Keeps work area clean, safe and orderly.
  • May train new or less experienced staff members.
  • Demonstrate a Continuous Improvement mindset – through participation in events and activities that lead to financial gain, time savings, and/or waste reduction for the business.
  • Works and communicates cross functionally to meet and exceed our customer requirements.
  • Works with Maintenance to prevent and correct issues when needed.
  • Demonstrates safe working practices in all facets of job.

The ideal candidate will possess:

  • High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or one-year related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Driving electric powered industrial equipment such as walkie rider, forklift or reach truck are required.
  • Experience with powered hand tools (such as saws, drills, etc) is necessary.   
  • Experience with RF technology is preferred.
  • Proficiency in computer systems such as Microsoft Excel, Word, Outlook, and Power Point required.

  • Prior experience with JDE, PkMS or other WMS is helpful. 

  • RF-driven warehouse experience preferred.

  • Certification/license to use all equipment (reach truck, fork lift) used in functional area preferred.
  • Completion of Six Sigma Yellow Belt Certification preferred.
