We are seeking a Warehouse Manager to join our Supply Chain team!

Are you a proven Warehouse leader? As the Warehouse Manager you will primarily manage workplace health and safety requirements in addition to the safe receipt, storage, retrieval and timely dispatch of goods always ensuring the safety of employees and their surroundings. This position reports to the Director of Supply Chain Management and frequently interacts with other departments within Supply Chain as well as Accounting and Production.


  • Can you manage multiple sites? This role manages the daily operations of the warehouse, receiving and cycle count groups at all Watkins warehouse locations, to include Vista and Mexico facilities.
  • Are you an inspiring leader? You will develop and manage employee performance, subordinate supervisors, and assigned leads. This includes responsibilities encompassing of the overall direction, coordination, and evaluation of these employees. You will be asked to carry out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the organization's policies and applicable laws.
  • Are you goal driven? You will consistently drive Total Cost of Productivity efforts to ensure cost reduction targets are met or exceeded.
  • Do you look for advancement opportunities? You will develop and implement strategic direction related to warehouse technologies including scanning and bar coding. You will also continue to update the warehouse technology roadmap and create capital requests for technology enhancements.
  • Do new projects motivate you? You will be asked to provide strategic planning for space requirements, all locations, for the next one, two and five years.
  • Do you thrive in managing logistics? This role establishes operational procedures for verification of incoming and outgoing shipments, handling and disposition of merchandise, and record keeping of warehouse inventory.
  • Can you work cross-functionally? You will design and implement monthly cycle count procedures required to eliminate the need for an annual physical inventory. In addition, you’ll work closely with cost accounting and with outside financial auditors to ensure compliance and inventory exemption status.


  • Bachelor's degree required; Business Administration, Supply Chain, Logistics, or Operations Management preferred.
  • 5-7 years related management experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Demonstrated success in team leadership, managing for results through effective coaching and feedback.
  • Proficient user in MS Office suite (Excel, Word, Powerpoint.)
  • Must be able to prepare reports, performance reviews, worksheets, charts, schedules, procedures, and other data as necessary.
  • Experience with Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) systems (e.g. Navision.)
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to interact with all levels within the organization.
  • Strong ability to work in a team environment.
  • Willingness and ability to travel on occasion (~10%) to visit our Mexico plant required.
