This position provides vision, governance and operational management to the Warehouse, Finished Goods Receiving and Cycle Count areas of Masco Canada. This position will translate tactical and strategic goals and drive the deliverables in the associated areas

What You’ll Bring:

  • Minimum of 5 years of warehouse management experience, preferably in a lean environment
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience working in a manufacturing environment, preferably in a lean environment
  • Emergency First Aid/CPR and AED Certification
  • Experience using JDE is an asset
  • Product knowledge is an asset
  • Computer literacy is required
  • Strong oral and written communication skills

What You’ll Do:

  • Maintain a safe and clean work environment by educating and directing personnel on safe work practices to meet Safety and 5S targets
  • Define and enforce standards of behaviour within the context of Masco Canada’s conduct guidelines
  • Provide governance to the day to day operations of the associated supervisory team, which includes coaching, mentoring, directing and performance management.
  • Direct the activities to meet the shipping/receiving requirements to support internal and external customers
  • Execute activities and direction to meet Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)
  • Reviews daily, weekly and monthly performance metrics and manages performance of the team to meet these defined standards
  • Participate in the ongoing continuous improvement programs (Lean Glass House)
  • Direct and exercise proper and respectful communication/behaviour and adherence to the collective bargaining agreement
  • Drive operational improvements in all aspects of Safety, Delivery, Quality and Cost
  • Manage disposition of E&O products at end of their cycle
  • Facilitate monthly cycle count meetings with shop floor personnel and management
  • Maintain effective costs control to meet departmental budgets, labour, productivity targets and manpower requirements
  • Drive for continuous improvement through either process improvement, training or capital spending to ensure the warehouse operations drives for continuous improvement.
