This position works closely with the General Manager, senior management team, and our parent company, Watkins, to maximize the overall success of Endless Pools’ Strategic and Long Range Plans by executing and maintaining high-value strategic marketing initiatives. The ability to speak in front of groups to influence and engage is critical to their success. The ideal candidate has prior experience in direct sales and marketing, building a business plan to drive growth


The Vice President of Sales and Marketing is a key member of the senior management team. This position works closely with the General Manager, senior management team, and Watkins to maximize the overall success of Endless Pools’ Strategic and Long Range Plans by executing and maintaining high-value strategic marketing initiatives. This role also defines and drives the sales strategy throughout the organization. This position requires presenting information to audiences in an engaging and dynamic manner.


  • Key contributor to developing and implementing the company’s Long-Range Plan (3-year LRP) and Annual Operating Plan (AOP), consistent with corporate requirements.Helps drive the annual SDP (Strategic Deployment Process) for goal attainment and continuous improvement
  • Establishes and implements strategic sales and marketing plans to achieve corporate objectives.
  • Collaborates with Watkins peers to develop sales and marketing strategies in all channels and for all products, particularly Aquatic Fitness Systems.
  • Oversees all product management activities, including new product development, development engineering, life cycle management, sales forecasting, pricing input, competitive analysis, etc.
  • Provides leadership to and manages the development and day to day activities of the Marketing and Sales teams, including effective recruitment, hiring, performance management, coaching, inspiring, career development, and succession planning.
  • Builds and motivates high-performance teams by providing team leadership and aligning staffing needs with the business needs/strategy. Inspire, motivate and create a climate in which people strive to succeed.Set clear expectations and objectives for direct reports and their teams.
  • Develops and manages sales and marketing operating budgets.
  • Oversee and drive revenue through all channels, including commercial and wholesale sales in all markets.
  • Establishes sales goals and monitors performance to achieve corporate objectives.
  • Key driver in developing sales forecast.
  • Oversees all brand management activities, including implementation of strategies and action plans that lead to brand loyalty.Ensures the establishment and maintenance of a consistent corporate image throughout all product lines, promotional materials and events.
  • Oversees all consumer marketing activities, including Search Engine Marketing, Search Engine Optimization, websites, social media, CRM/Automation, etc.
  • Oversees the marketing creative process, including development (imagery and copy) and production of all forms of marketing collateral (electronic or print), including brochures, websites, email marketing, point of sale materials, advertisements ,etc.
  • Monitors the effectiveness of marketing plans and strategies and provides appropriate reporting of results to the General Manager.
  • Supports new business development initiatives through the creation of marketing materials (print and online) that promote the company’s unique selling propositions

    Bachelor's degree (B. A.) from four-year college or university, MBA highly preferred; 6-8 years of progressive management experience. Demonstrated experience leading high performance teams; experience managing relationships with multiple complex shareholder groups. Direct Marketing and Direct Sales experience highly preferred.


    Proficient user in MS Office suite. Must be able to prepare reports, performance reviews, worksheets, charts, schedules, procedures, and other data as necessary. ERP system experience helpful. Organized and detail-oriented. Dynamic speaker - able to present information to a group of co-workers, supervisors, managers or higher-level executives. Ability to engage and influence audience.
