Liberty Hardware is seeking an experienced Vice President, eBusiness who will have overall responsibility for developing the vision and strategy, and driving growth and profitability of our eBusiness channel. This role has P&L ownership (revenue, profit, ROI) while ensuring cross-channel success.

Key Responsibilities

  • Leads the team dedicated to growing eBusiness at Liberty Hardware
  • Works across organization to execute objectives, while also balancing trade-offs in other areas of the business
  • Aligns commercial focus (through channel/sales managers) and operational competency (through the Capabilities team).
  • Ensures scalable growth of the eBusiness organization and capabilities
  • Ensures cross-functional alignment at the highest level of sales, marketing, IT, logistics and balance of organization
  • Works collaboratively with product teams to ensure consistency in brand experience
  • Develops a holistic omni-channel shopping experience
  • Scopes the long-term opportunity, developing a 3-year roadmap of activities and capabilities
  • Conducts digital trends assessment to include adapting strategy and tactics
  • Implements and manages KPIs supporting how success is defined for Liberty Hardware
  • Develops and executes annual business plans delivering revenue, profit and an above threshold ROI
  • Develops and implements the internet channel strategy including the development, implementation and enforcement of policies and programs
  • Effectively communicates customer needs to organization
  • Develops and implements Liberty Hardware’s direct-to-consumer strategy
  • Develops an integrated communication plan across digital touchpoints including: owned .com properties, social channels, ratings/reviews, customer services, customer .com properties
  • Partners with IT for digital roadmap development and execution related to platform extensions, application development and system support
  • Contribute to development and achievement of AOP and LRP targets and plans
  • Develops, coaches and mentors a team having capabilities to execute operating strategies
  • Manages in a manner suporting Liberty Hardware’s positioning statement, values, goals and objectives
  • Demonstrates a Continuous Improvement mindset through participation in events and activities that lead to financial gain, time savings, and/or waste reduction for the business

Required Education, Experience and Skills

  • The ideal candidate will possess a bachelor’s degree from four-year college or university (advanced degree preferred but not required) and 10+ years of directly-related experience.
  • Experience in strategic planning, eCommerce, data analysis, channel management, sales and change management
  • Possesses in-depth knowledge and understanding of key web technologies and the ability to utilize them
  • Demonstrates ability to affect positive change through organizational alignment including experience leading a cross-functional team with and without direct reporting accountability (required)
  • Ability to effectively communicate both verbal and written, at all levels of the organization as well as with external partners and customers
  • Position requires a strong relationship builder who can build and nurture a high performing team. Must be influential with customer decision makers and positively represent Delta Faucet’s interests while aligning Liberty Hardware’s goals with online and offline customers
  • Must be a creative problem-solver and be able to challenge the status quo to drive action
  • Ability to travel up to 25%
