Delta Faucet Company has an excellent opportunity for a talented Business Intelligence professional to join our IS team.

The Business Intelligence Technical Lead is accountable for delivering solutions, driving the technical architecture, and architecting analytical solutions that utilizes BI technologies primarily SAP Business Objects Suite and BW.

In addition, this role will collaborate with the Technical Services Manager and Business Solutions team to think and plan at a strategic level, including analysis of complex issues, evaluation and selection of existing and new technologies, and leadership of cross-functional teams to meet or exceed users’ requirements.

Principal Accountabilities:

  • Collaborate with Business Solutions functional teams and the Project Management Office to plan application development resource needs supporting the overall IS portfolio, enhancements, and incident management
  • Work together with the PMO, Business Solutions, and the vendor management team to define and measure the appropriate technical KPIs
  • Provide input necessary to build IS functional roadmaps and the overall IS architecture plan
  • Define, document, and manage standards for data modeling and data transformation
  • Manage ETL tools supporting interface execution and transfer of data between systems
  • Validate and translate business requirements and high-level design into the appropriate BI toolsets
  • Manage the development of Business Objects reports, dashboard and analytical solutions
  • Design and maintain optimized data models to support reporting and analytical needs
  • Refine approach for SAP Embedded Analytics in support of organizational goals
  • Define strategy for supplying appropriate data models for use by SAP Lumira visualization tool
  • Work with the broader BI team to advance BI reporting and usage across business functions
  • Coordinate with appropriate teams to manage version upgrades of software and system
  • Coach and mentor other technical team members
  • For 3rd party development partners, set direction and priority, manage relationships with technical leadership, coordinate the resources and address delivery issues

Education and Experience/Skills:

The ideal candidate will possess a Bachelor's degree from four-year college or university and seven or more years of working directly with development and management of enterprise level integration platforms; or equivalent combination of education of experience.

  • Proven hands on experience on SAP-BI tools; SAP-BW 7.4+, BEx, Analysis (OLAP/Office), BOBJ Suite
  • Strong understanding of HANA platform required with BWoH and/or native HANA and sidecar solutions preferred
  • Preferred experience in reporting tools like SAP Lumira, Crystal Reports
  • Hands on experience on SAP BODS a great plus
  • 10+ years of overall professional SAP experience with 7+years experience with SAP BPC /BI/BO
  • Experience in implementing and managing projects using agile methodologies
  • Excellent verbal, written and interpersonal skills required
