Responsibilities:

  •     Support multi-discipline teams in development of innovative products.
  •     Work on all phases of new product development including conception, design, prototype, testing and product launch.
  •     Design and build automated test equipment and data acquisition systems.
  •     Perform various hands-on tasks, pairing electronics with mechanical systems
    Experience Required:
  •     Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering, with 5 years of experience minimum.
  •     Digital and Analog Electronic Circuit Design
  •     PCB layout (1-layer, 2-layer, 4-layer)
  •     Embedded Systems design (8-bit, 16-bit, 32-bit)
    o    Analog sensor measurement
    o    Serial communication (UART, I2C, SPI)
    o    Motor/Valve drive (PWM)
    o    Low power (sleep modes, standby modes) for battery operation
    o    Wireless technologies (Bluetooth, RF, Zigbee, ect.)
    o    C language firmware development
  •     C/C++ Programming (Visual Basic, Python, or other OOP is a plus)
  •     Familiar with test and measurement equipment (DMM, Oscilloscope, Spectrum Analyzer, etc.)
  •     Experience in design of products to meet UL and FCC certification requirements
  •     Experience in design and testing for electromagnetic compatibility (EMC)
    Experience Preferred:
  •     Altium Designer software
  •     LabVIEW
  •     Soldering (Through Hole and SMT)
  •     Mechanically inclined - capable of using power tools to fabricate and assemble simple test fixtures 
    Personal Skills:
  •     Ability to communicate effectively and efficiently, both written and verbal
  •     Must have strong work ethic, sense of urgency and high energy level
  •     Ability to handle diverse assignments concurrently
  •     Self-starter, bias for action, results oriented
  •     Ability to work effectively alone and with others to meet deadlines
  •     Proficient using Microsoft Office products specifically, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
