We are seeking a Sr. Talent Development Manager to join our People Strategy and Services team!

IN A NUTSHELL
As our Sr. Talent Development Manager, you will be responsible for collaborating with business leaders and corporate management to develop and implement talent management and organizational development strategies and solutions. You will be key in helping to advance talent and leadership capability, develop and drive activities to build top talent faster, and improve engagement, performance and retention of exceptional talent, all which align to the Masco (our parent company) corporate talent initiatives.  This is a fantastic opportunity to drive a culture of career growth, promote talent mobility and enhance employee engagement and leadership company-wide, while partnering with colleagues and business leaders in the talent management and development of their teams.

 
WHAT YOU’LL DO

  • Can you create Leadership Development strategies? You will partner with our business leaders and respective People Services teams to identify needs and create talent and leadership development strategies for employees that are aligned to the Masco enterprise leadership initiatives. You’ll also provide expertise and training to drive high impact development plans for our employees, and continually assess those development plans for ongoing effectiveness.
  • Can you be a champion for Talent and Performance Management programs?  We’ll look to you to partner with our leaders and respective People Services teams to identify, leverage, and deploy consistent programs, experiences and tools to drive development/performance of leaders, managers and professionals. You will also be responsible for the Organizational Talent Review (OTR) process and provide periodic status updates and talent planning guidance and tools.
  • Can you develop training plans? In conjunction with our business leaders and the People Services and Talent Acquisition teams, you will diagnose, develop, and deliver training programs and/or identify internal assignments designed to help build exceptional talent and prepare individuals for leadership roles.
  • Do you have experience in workforce planning? In partnership with our internal People Services and Talent Acquisition teams, you will participate in proactively identifying, tracking, and recommending talent to fill key vacancies and support long-term growth strategies using enterprise systems and tools. You’ll also provide input for succession planning solutions to prepare for, and achieve, future business objectives.
  • Are you resourceful?  You’ll be the point of contact for leveraging the Masco (parent company) network across all business units and learning and sharing best practices as it relates to Talent Management and Leadership Development.
  • Can you inspire others? You will develop and deliver Leadership Development learning programs through effective communication and presentation skills to a variety of audiences including management.  

WHAT YOU NEED

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Organizational Development, Organizational Psychology or related is required.
  • A minimum of 5 years related experience working in Human Resources, Talent Management, Organizational Development or related field.  The equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead Talent Management and/or Organizational Development programs and successfully influence internal business leaders and employees at all levels. 
  • HR Certification such as SPHR/PHR/SHRM-HR is preferred.
  • Must be highly proficient in MS Office suite with the ability to prepare reports, worksheets, charts, presentations, procedures, and other data as necessary. 
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to interact with and effectively present information to all levels within the organization is required. 
  • Willingness to travel (~5%) for corporate meetings, trainings, and other events as needed.
