Conduct core financial analytical responsibilities for Procurement team.  Working safely is part of our culture and is a condition of employment.


  • Monitor key performance indicators including purchase price variance and monthly variance analysis
  • Identify cost savings and financial impact to quality of product or service
  • Identify, understand and analyze raw material data to provide negotiating leverage that may impact pricing decision
  • Assist in financial function in monthly, quarterly, and annual reports  including developing improved processes to eliminate technical, master data and process issues.
  • Analyze operating results of key Suppliers/Competitors and research potential recommendations to leverage the information with Suppliers/Customers Develop presentations for senior management and lead projects as assigned.
  • Represent the department effectively to senior executives.

    Bachelor’s degree in Finance or Accounting or a related field or equivalent work experience
    CPA preferred 
    Four years of financial analysis or accounting and planning experience
    Prefer manufacturing or production environments and familiarity with Purchasing/Procurement functions
    Experience with evaluating and improving business processes

    Knowledge of MS Office Suites and/or software applications related to job functions
    Considerable knowledge in forecast demand management and planning analysis
    Chemical/Coatings experience a plus
    Strong financial modeling skills 
    Ability to think analytically, creatively and independently 
    Demonstrated initiative and drive to achieve results 
    Strong oral and written communication/presentation skills
    Advanced PC skills including MS Excel, PowerPoint and Word 
    Familiarity with SAP or other similar ERP systems
    Possess strong organization skills
