Can you tell an engaging story with your strong writing and video content skills? As the Sr. Marketing Communications Specialist, you will assist in creating and delivering weekly marketing communications for our Hot Spring® Spas and Caldera® Spas brands, to help us build awareness and adoption of our marketing programs, products and initiatives via our dealer community. You will report to the Senior Manager of Marketing Content and will primarily be responsible for executing the communication tactics to grow engagement and advocacy of our industry-leading spa brands. 


  • Are you a compelling storyteller? You will create ongoing dealer communications to drive awareness, adoption and loyalty of Watkins Wellness brands via Omni-channels that include: email, video, website, digital/social, print collateral, press releases, speeches, presentation tools, and executive communications.  You’ll leverage your solid experience in email marketing, video messaging, and other marketing abilities to deliver high quality, easy-to-comprehend communications.
  • Can you invoke excitement for a brand? You will assist in creating emails, video content and other dealer-focused marketing and corporate communications, including but not limited to: weekly sales & marketing news; occasional service announcements; pricing, and executive communications.
  • Are you creative? You will recommend and implement new and engaging communication channels and approaches to increase engagement and utilization of our marketing programs from our dealers.
  • Are you a team player? You will assist with communications across the product, brand, creative, and digital marketing teams, as well as from cross-departmental stakeholders and executives to ensure that our dealer community stays updated on key initiatives, product enhancements, program introductions, etc.
  • Are you organized and detail-oriented? You’ll assist the Sr. Marketing Administration Specialist in maintaining a comprehensive communications calendar and will work collaboratively with other marketing specialists to ensure that communications are scheduled, created, reviewed and delivered to the right audience in accordance with the 6-week calendar.  
  • Can you work efficiently under tight deadlines?  Our robust communications calendar is filled every six weeks with announcements.  The Senior Marketing Communications Specialist will be expected to produce quality-focused writing and editing with speed and accuracy to help keep us on schedule. 
  • Do you love to learn? Communication is a fast-evolving field and requires a willingness to test, explore and adopt new methods to reach ever-distracted audiences. You will be motivated to learn and understand the unique challenges facing our audience and new methods we can adopt to improve our communications.


  • Bachelor’s degree in Journalism, Writing, Marketing, Communications, or in a related field.
  • 3- 5 years of experience in marketing communications, public relations, agency or corporate communications arena. Experience working with a leading brand is preferred.
  • Experience with an email platform such as EMMA or MailChimp required.  Knowledge of and experience working within Customer Relationship Management (CRM) systems such as Salesforce desired. 
  • Must be proficient using Outlook and Microsoft Office applications, including Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
  • Video content experience desired.
  • Excellent communication and editing skills, especially written and presentation, with the ability to interact with all levels within the organization; strong ability to work in a team environment.  
  • Ability and willingness to travel on occasion (approximately 5%) for meetings, conferences, and events as needed.
