We are hiring a Sr. Marketing Communications Specialist to join our Marketing team!


Are you a Marketing Communications professional with expertise in Business-to-Business (B2B) communications? Our Sr. Marketing Communications Specialist is responsible for developing and executing the business-to-business marketing communications strategies primarily for our Hot Spring® Spas and Caldera® Spas brands, in order to build dealer awareness and adoption of our marketing programs, products and initiatives. In this role you will be reporting to the Senior Manager of Marketing Content and primarily will be responsible for executing the communication strategies that drive engagement and advocacy of our industry-leading spa and aquatic fitness brands from our dealers and key trade influencers (industry editors and bloggers).


  • Are you a strategic communicator? You will support the development of strategies to communicate our value proposition to dealers and prospects to drive awareness, adoption and loyalty of Watkins Wellness brands via multi-channel communications including: website copy, print collateral, press releases, speeches, executive communications, prospecting tools and presentations. You’ll ideally also leverage your experience across the full marketing communications media mix, including solid experience in email marketing and other digital marketing tools.
  • Are you innovative? You will continuously explore and recommend new methods to optimize marketing content and communications (beyond email) to better engage with our dealer network and various audiences. You’ll assess the effectiveness of our current business-to-business communications and propose ideas to revise our approach to increase engagement and utilization of our marketing programs.
  • Are you a team player? You will work with cross functional departments, key stakeholders, and executive team members in this highly visible role to help drive results for key objectives and particular product lines.
  • Are you an excellent writer? You will assist in writing, editing and updating dealer-focused marketing and corporate communications, including but not limited to: Sales & Marketing News, Service Announcements, Pricing & Executive News emails.
  • Are you organized and detail oriented? You’ll be responsible for maintaining a comprehensive communications calendar, as well as, manage an effective and efficient communication process for the marketing team. You’ll also oversee management of Watkins Wellness’ trade media activities and maintain list management and segmentation of dealer and prospect databases.
  • Do you stay informed? You will build and maintain solid company, brand and category knowledge including understanding of dealer channel, brand strategies, target consumers, product offerings, marketing plans, competitors and industry trends.


  • Bachelor’s degree in English, Advertising, Marketing, Communications, Journalism, or in a related field.
  • 5+ years of experience in marketing communications, public relations, agency or corporate communications arena.
  • 3+ years of experience specifically in business-to-business marketing communications. Experience working with a leading brand is preferred.
  • Experience with an email platform such as EMMA, MailChimp, and/or Eloqua. Knowledge of and experience working within Customer Relationship Management (CRM) systems such as Salesforce. Must be proficient using Microsoft Office applications.
  • Strong ability to work in a team environment with key stakeholders.
  • Demonstrated success in project management, organizational skills, interpersonal skills, along with the ability to multi-task with competing priorities are necessary to be successful in this position.
  • Excellent communication skills, especially written and presentation, with the ability to interact with all levels within the organization; Strong ability to work in a team environment.
  • Ability and willingness to travel on occasion (approximately 5%) for meetings, conferences, and events as needed.
