We are hiring a Sr. Manager, Marketing Analytics to join our Digital Marketing team!

IN A NUTSHELL

As our Senior Manager, Marketing Analytics, you will be responsible for our digital marketing analytics channels reporting infrastructure, and analysis to drive strategic decision-making for increased performance. You’ll be our subject matter expert on integrating marketing analytics data from multiple sources including online paid media accounts, Salesforce CRM, Marketing Cloud automation platform, data warehousing system, and the various Watkins Wellness websites, as well as, gather and integrate strategic data streams and perform analysis, interpret results and develop actionable insights and recommendations across the marketing and sales organization. This new position within the company will be critical in strengthening our ability to use data analytics to develop our marketing strategy, planning, and effectiveness.  

IS THIS YOU?

  • Are you passionate about analytics? You’ll be responsible to define Marketing metrics, Key Performance Indicators (KPIs), audit and recommend the correct analytic tracking tags, and troubleshoot anomalies in data patterns using your experience with data models and business logic. You’ll also provide reporting and analysis from all digital marketing channels on a regular basis and use data to provide insights into B2B and B2C KPI performance. Using your passion for analytics, you’ll develop Return on Investment (ROI) and revenue forecasts for digital marketing programs and make data driven recommendations to optimize marketing programs and channels.
  • Can you tell a good story? You will use strong critical thinking skills to evaluate information gathered from multiple sources, reconcile data inaccuracies, and provide high-level consolidated analysis for various stakeholders. You’ll also pull and review data from multiple sources to develop analysis and data driven recommendations for web and email A/B testing, conversion rate optimization of forms and call to actions, product merchandising, dealers’ locator pages etc. aimed at growing qualified sales leads and top line revenue.  Ultimately, we will also look for you to create compelling dashboards and reporting frameworks.
  • Are you an expert in Business Intelligence? In this role, you’ll be the point person for building, developing, and growing our business intelligence capabilities from definition, to implementation, to insights and reporting. 
  • Do you stay current with online analytics and reporting tools?  You’ll be our key strategic resource for using analytics tools such as Google Analytics, Salesforce, internal business intelligence, and data warehousing systems. You’ll also have the opportunity and be expected to stay ahead of Web Analytics and Business Intelligence technologies and trends by participating in trainings, conferences, networking events, and other opportunities to sharpen mastery and stay current.
  • Are you a data junkie?  You will manage our digital analytics platforms and supervise installations and code placement. You’ll also validate our data warehousing system for data integrity, quality, attribution and accuracy and collaborate with delivery/technical teams and subject matter experts to help with proper tracking mechanism implementations.
  • Can you build strong relationships? You will partner with selected agencies to deliver exceptional results by developing strategies, plans, and targets.
  • Are you an inspiring leader?  In this position, you will need to use your leadership and influential skills to align people, process, and systems across cross-functional departments to our business and strategy needs by setting clear expectations for desired results and creating an environment where there is appetite for understanding the data. 
  • Are you an effective communicator?  You will be called upon to present information subject matter expertise, appropriate level of data, and recommendations to various audiences, which may impact our marketing strategy, budgets, and choice of marketing channels. 

WHAT YOU NEED

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Business Intelligence, Web Marketing Analytics, Mathematics, Statistics or related field is required. The equivalent combination of experience and education may be considered.
  • Minimum of 5 years’ experience in a web data analytics role or business intelligence function with experience leading and managing large projects. Data analysis and KPI reporting with a marketing focus is a plus.  Previous team leadership experience is a plus.
  • Must have a strong technology background and proven experience using a variety of tools such as, Google Analytics, Google 360, Adobe Prime, A/B testing platforms, and working with online and offline marketing data. Expert level proficiency in Excel along with strong proficiency in other MS Office applications is required. 
  • Experience working with Business Intelligence, data management platforms and data mining applications such as Adobe Audience Manager, Datorama, Tableau, or Salesforce DMP is highly preferred. 
  • Demonstrated understanding of implementing and defining A/B and multi-variant testing strategies.  Experience in performance analysis of multi-dimensional data; SPSS or another statistical tool a plus.
  • Strong experience performing essential business analysis activities, including gathering, validating and managing business requirements through projects’ completion.
  • Knowledge of data warehousing concepts and expertise in data visualization including statistical and information graphics and plots.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to communicate analytics reporting, data infrastructure and related technologies to technical and nontechnical users.  Must also be able to effectively present, communicate, and share data analysis along with recommendations to large cross-functional teams.
  • Ability to work with all levels within the organization as well as strong ability to work in a team environment, are required to be successful in this position.
  • Ability and willingness to travel up to 10% of the time to conferences, meetings, dealer channel visits, etc.
