The Sr CRM Analyst is the liaison between the technical team and stakeholders, management, and end users alike to implement changes or new functionality to continually improve the system by collecting requirements from the business, analyze the requests, provide possible solutions and execute the implementation. This role will require making complex configurations and development capabilities are a necessity. A deep understanding of Salesforce technical processes is required. Additionally this role will be charged with utilizing standard Salesforce reports and dashboards as well as Salesforce Einstein (Wave) to drive data focused conversations within the organization.

Essential Functions

  • Contribute to best practices for requirements/process design documentation and other IT processes.
  • Capture knowledge and outcome of discussions and business decisions for IT team communications.
  • Understand business stakeholders’ strategic vision and associated priorities.
  • Coordinate with internal teams to develop systems, processes, and procedures
  • Ability to work well in a fast-paced environment and be a creative, dynamic problem solver
  • Exceptional communication skills, able to communicate with all relevant teams and stakeholders, proficient in presenting to remote and in-person executives.
  • General administration on Salesforce including managing workflows, configuring objects, maintaining user profiles, role hierarchy, security, and other specific Salesforce setup options as necessary.
  • Create reports, dashboards, and leverage business analytics to provide insight and understanding to ongoing business functions and realities
  • Monitor success of programs, customer segments, and sales teams tracking effectiveness and uncovering best practices that can be applied in a continuous improvement approach.
  • Analyze existing business and system processes and offer recommendations for improvements
  • Supports maintenance and improvement of data management, including record merging, and other updates as needed
  • Closely work with IT team for system changes or any changes requiring integration
  • Prioritizes new and backlog requests based on ROI and business strategy.
  • Act as a liaison with other departments to ensure the integrity of master data information through the CRM system and reporting structures
  • Able to manage the data components of Salesforce Einstein, Data Syncs, Flows, & Sets
  • Proficient at building dashboards in Salesforce Einstein useable by all types of end users, sales reps to SVPs
  • Familiarity with creating and interpreting Einstein stories for the business
  • Ability to work through data difficulties including incomplete/dirty data, combining data sets from multiple sources, working with structured & unstructured data
  • Able to act as an interpreter and teacher for understanding analytical output

Job Qualifications

  • 4+ years experience preferred
  • Certified Administrator required (and Platform App Builder Certification preferred)
  • Experience with Salesforce Einstein (Wave), Sales Cloud, Lightning, Process Builder, and Flow preferred
  • Bachelor’s Degree preferred


  • Strong understanding of CRM best practices and functionality
  • Solid understanding of data structures and data modeling
  • Creative and analytical thinker with strong problem solving skills
  • Solid organizational skills with demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects effectively in a fast-paced business environment
  • Effective communication skills, both verbal and written
  • Proficient in the Microsoft Office Suite
  • Proficient with Extract, Load, and Transform Tools
  • Strong collaborative skills, able to partner with different functional areas, both internally and externally
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
