Purpose: The Sr. People Services Business Partner is responsible for leading and directing all Talent Management and Workforce Strategic Planning Initiatives and processes for the organization. These include managing organization development reviews and talent calibrations as well as advising leaders and people managers on employee development program goals and objectives. This position will also collaborate with the corporate support teams in leading and facilitating leadership development programs and serving as a change leader for the organization.


Primary Responsibilities

  • Directly manage one or more People Services Business Partners.
  • Provide strategic HR support and consultation focused on anticipating and assessing emerging business, organization or people trends and identifying and implementing the appropriate solution
  • Participate in appropriate strategy meetings to learn and support the business
  • Partner with leaders and executives to align talent/people strategies with business priorities and advise Leadership to support their business goals
  • Manage organizational development reviews, talent calibrations and succession planning exercises for functional groups
  • Utilize assessment tools and coaching methodologies to influence high potential development plan creation and reviews
  • Support all organizational development and lead change management initiatives
  • Analyze data to provide information regarding bench strength, compensation, turnover and headcount, along with other related metrics
  • Collaborate with People Services functional partners to execute the People Services strategy to enable business objectives and support future business growth
  • Deliver services to clients resulting in a seamless point of contact to the broader People Services organization and ensuring successful integration of functional partner initiatives and expertise
  • Leverage skills and knowledge to challenge or influence leadership in decision-making processes
  • Assist with the implementation of People Services initiatives and programs, including those in the areas of diversity & inclusion, learning and development, and workforce planning
  • Guide leaders to appropriate people decisions while minimizing risk and exposure to the company
  • Entrench the Leadership profile and Company values throughout assigned work groups
  • Partner with People Services Centers of Excellence to ensure a consistent approach to our People Services practices

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resources or equivalent experience in Human Resources field
  • Seven plus years of progressive experience in Human Resources, with five plus years of business partner experience
  • Track record on establishing relationships with all levels of management
  • Strong coordination and collaboration skills with a positive reputation for working effectively across levels of an organization
  • Demonstrated ability to think strategically and creatively as well as adapt to quickly evolving environment
  • Strong background in performance management and demonstrated coaching expertise
  • Strong knowledge of employee relations practices, law & regulations
  • Proven experience in conflict resolution and problem solving
  • Excellent communication skills: verbal, written, interpersonal
  • Ability to multi-task and balance numerous priorities in a fast paced environment
  • Experienced at evaluating talent and recommending appropriate development to close skill or development gaps
