Job Description

  • Write, analyze, test and modify SAP software, applications, programs and updates
  • Engage in most aspects of the system development lifecycle, including development, testing, implementation, and support.

  • Develop, configure, implement and support SAP's solutions.
  • Debug and implement enhancements in existing applications.
  • Participate as a high level technical expert in design, development, coding, documenting, testing and debugging existing or new applications.
  • Create prototypes and mock-ups.
  • Meet with managers and business analysts on specifics of projects, new technologies, and deadlines.
  • Resolve customer issues.
  • Participate in estimation and project planning.
  • Report assigned tasks periodically to supervisor.
  • Periodic project management meetings.

  • Educational attainment equivalent to a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems or a related field
  • Considerable experience involving SAP, UNIX and personal computer software programs and systems applications.
  • Familiarity with Web Dynpro, Smartforms, BADI’s, BAPI’s & User Exits
  • Knowledge of EDI & Business Intelligence tools are a plus

  • Considerable knowledge and understanding of SAP development technologies such as ABAP & SQL and front-end technologies like HTML5 & Javascript
  • Considerable knowledge of UNIX and personal computer software and hardware requirements and applications using an SAP platform in a manufacturing environment
  • Considerable knowledge of business and manufacturing applications and system requirements
  • Knowledge of systems analysis and design
  • Knowledge of software documentation procedures
  • Ability to develop and modify software programs using SAP development languages
  • Ability to communicate effectively
  • Ability to perform multiple tasks simultaneously.
  • Ability to lead and facilitate technical discussions.
