We are hiring a Senior Manager, Creative Marketing to join our Marketing team!

IN A NUTSHELL

As our Senior Manager, Creative Marketing, you will be responsible for the creative development and management of Watkins Wellness®’ marketing materials, including both traditional and digital marketing efforts, which will involve photo shoots, video development, product brochures, Point of Purchase (POP) displays, product logos, printed marketing materials, and marketing inventory management.  This is a great opportunity to demonstrate leadership capabilities while you manage a team of Graphic Designers along with many vendor resources and collaborate with Marketing leadership in the strategic development and execution of brand assets.

IS THIS YOU?

  • Are you a strong leader?  You’ll provide leadership and guidance to a team of Graphic Designers and have direct oversight of external resources, including photographers, videographers, designers, and agencies.  You’ll also ensure that the overall workflow runs efficiently, and project deadlines are met.
  • Do you have creative expertise? We’ll look to you to provide your expertise to oversee the creation and production of traditional and digital marketing materials such as packaging, logos, product elements, printed marketing materials, etc. for multiple brands, all while managing the overall creative budget.
  • Are you resourceful?  Through your team, you will be responsible for managing our creative inventory and libraries, along with determining which hardware and software resources are most beneficial for the department. 
  • Are you customer-focused?  You’ll manage our customer showroom merchandising program and oversee photo and video shoots to determine design direction, vendor selection, price negotiation, etc. to ensure the best creative output for our customers and the business. In this role, you will also be a point person in training our dealers and sales team members in merchandising and the effective use of our marketing materials, and provide creative support for special events such as, dealer conferences, seminars, etc. while collaborating with our Retail Program Optimization (RPO) team.
  • Do you have digital creative marketing experience? You will collaborate with the Digital Marketing team to develop website page layouts and digital content that optimizes the user experience.
  • Are you a team player? As part of the Marketing Leadership Team, you will collaborate with other Marketing and business leaders to create and maintain a productive and positive work environment and help ensure success for the Marketing team and overall business.

WHAT YOU NEED

  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Graphic Design, or Communications (or directly related field) is required.
  • 8 to 10 years’ related experience working in the creative field and leading design activities for both traditional and digital media, managing ad agencies and creative vendors, directing photography/videography, print buying.  Experience working with consumer products, preferably in business-to-business (B2B) environments, is highly preferred.
  • Minimum 5 years’ experience with demonstrated success in team leadership, managing others for results, and providing effective coaching and feedback.
  • High proficiency level in Creative Suite products (MAC) such as Photoshop, Illustrator and InDesign, as well as Microsoft Office Suite.  Knowledge of technology trends and best practices as it relates to Creative Marketing is desired.
  • Strong organizational and leadership skills. 
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to interact with all levels within the organization as well as strong ability to work in a team environment, are required to be successful in this position.
  • Ability and willingness to travel approximately 5-10% to photo shoots, conferences, special events, company meetings, channel partner visits, trade shows, etc.
