Job Description

The Senior Graphic Designer directs all graphic service activities for Masco’s internal departments, providing strategy, conceptualization, design development, implementation and production oversight of a wide range of single and multi-component collateral projects.

  • Collaborate with the communications staff to translate concepts into usable, appropriate design and constantly evaluate the quality and impact of past, present and future materials
  • Provide creative direction for various initiatives, including print materials, PowerPoint presentations, website content, company publications, video projects and location-based digital signage
  • Create visual graphics based on specification and needs, within parameters of company branding
  • Design for a wide variety of mediums including email, online banner ads, social media graphics and ads, lifestyle images, printed collateral and more
  • Manages business unit relationships with marketing leads and managing version control for BU/language-specific collateral for projects including AR, Benefits Enrollment Guides, and Ethics Awareness posters
  • Point of contact for outside vendors, including photographers and printing vendors
  • Create and maintain files for all creative assets and resources to ensure brand consistency
  • Consistently deliver fresh ideas and concepts to keep materials current and dynamic
  • Define challenges, collect relevant information, draw insightful conclusions and develop graphic concepts to address the challenge
  • Work and communicate effectively across the organization with many cross-functional team members

Essential Qualifications and Skills

  • Bachelor's degree in graphic design; Relevant design experience of 5 years minimum
  • Advanced user of Adobe Creative Suite, InDesign, Photoshop, Acrobat Professional and MS Office, including PowerPoint
  • Experience designing for web
  • Strong knowledge of all phases of production from design through print and press-ready art, and digital paperless delivery
  • Good knowledge of corporate branding, digital media and color theory
  • Ability to imbibe good time management and multitasking skills in executing projects
  • Excellent problem-solving, decision-making and project management skills
  • Outstanding written and verbal communication skills
  • Experience successfully creating and/or modifying processes
  • Comfortable operating in a fast-paced environment
  • Good organizational skills with ability to prioritize and handle multiple projects with shifting deadlines
  • Strong team player
