We are hiring a Sales Support Specialist to join our Sales team!


Do you find ways to improve the status quo and are ready to join a team dedicated to driving sales?  As the Sales Support Specialist, you will work closely with the sales team and other internal plus external customers to support new business and dealer development initiatives related to Watkins Wellness sales priorities.  You’ll work extensively in Salesforce and across Microsoft Office suite to process dealer agreements, execute cases, and prepare various reports related to new dealers’ sales.  You’ll also assess current methods and processes to determine and recommend how we can do it better, faster, and/or easier.  This position reports to the Sales Support Manager and will also work closely with the Director of Business Development and the Business Development Managers.


  • Can you effectively multitask?  You will primarily support business development initiatives by processing dealer signings and terminations, maintaining and updating dealer contact information, preparing prospecting materials, maintaining various databases, supporting pipeline management in Salesforce, and coordinating prospect visits to our headquarters.
  • Are you skilled at developing reports?  Another key area involves maintaining monthly department metrics, chart creation, and maintenance in addition to generating competitive analyses as requested.
  • Do you consider yourself organized and detail-oriented?  The Sales Support Specialist provides general support to internal and external sales staff with duties such as assisting with compliance audits, general communication, travel support, special ad hoc projects, supporting internet position monitoring and enforcement, and ordering office supplies, mailings, and dealer plaques.
  • Are you customer-centric?  You will act as the liaison between the sales team and other departments by serving on various committees, assisting with training new Regional Sales Managers (RSMs), maintaining department training records, and creating new documents, reports, and presentations using Word, Excel and PowerPoint.  On occasion, you may also fill-in at the front desk as a back-up receptionist and greet guests as well as answer incoming calls.
  • Do you enjoy event planning?  In this position, you’ll assist with coordinating and planning internal and external events.  Duties may include the following: site selection, food and beverage selection, transportation coordination, creating supporting materials (agendas, communications, PowerPoint presentations, etc.), onsite set-up and execution, and post-event follow-up.


  • Bachelor's degree in business or related field is preferred.
  • Two or more years related experience and/or training.  The equivalent combination of education and/or experience will be considered.
  • Must be highly skilled user in Microsoft Office suite, specifically Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.  Must be able to prepare reports, worksheets, charts, schedules, procedures, and other data as necessary. 
  • Ability to present information to a group of co-workers, supervisors, managers or higher-level executives. 
  • Experience using a CRM (i.e. Salesforce) and an ERP (i.e. Navision) system is a plus.
  • Must be detail-oriented, able to prioritize multiple tasks, and meet deadlines.
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to interact with all levels within the organization as well as strong ability to work in a team environment, are required to be successful in this position.
