Duties & Responsibilities:

Specific duties include, but may not be limited to:

  • Assist in incorporating research results into product features, advantages, & benefits. Balancing market opportunities with operating constraints.
  • Assist in developing requests including target costs, price points, volume estimates, (absolute & incremental) initial payback, and proposed launch timing.
  • Assist in developing products that are hybrids of existing product for specific market needs.
  • Develop an understanding of the market
  • Assist in the preparation of Industry Issues documentation
  • Assist in preparing internal updates regarding codes, standards, and legislation
  • Maintain and update the internal websites for codes and standards working with Masco and outside agencies
  • Assist with legislation issues and meetings both national and at the state level
  • Research legislation that would impact the plumbing industry

Additional Opportunities:

  • To support and assist the research and design team by identifying market-driven product opportunities and preparing research for developing product opportunities.

Qualifications:

  • Pursuing 4-year degree in Entrepreneurship, Marketing, Business, or related degree program
  • Innovative thinking
  • Computer Proficiency in Microsoft Office Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Self-starter
  • Excellent critical thinking/problem solving skills
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills

Additional Information:

You will be in our Indianapolis office off Meridian and 106th street. This is an internship that starts in January 2019 through December 2019. 15-20 hours a week during the school year and 40 hours a week during the summer time frame.
