Milgard Windows and Doors in Tacoma is seeking a temporary Recruiter for a 3-6 month contract in our Tacoma Manufacturing facility.

The Recruiter will deliver tactical recruiting support to Milgard Tacoma Manufacturing, focusing on entry level plant positions. The Recruiter will partner with hiring managers to identify and screen a diverse slate of candidates to meet job requirements and Milgard Core Values. Additional responsibilities may include support of orientation for new-hires and the tasks associated with same, report generation for applicant tracking and corporate compliance, and miscellaneous duties as assigned.


  • Recruiter will screen resumes as they are received, respond to those that do not meet criteria, and phone screening or personally interviewing candidates of those that do.
  • Will coordinate and schedule interviews between candidates and hiring manager and/or panel interviews.
  • Recruiter will prepare offer letters and coordinate applicant testing for drug and background checks and previous employment verifications.
  • The Recruiter will comply with Milgard’s Affirmative Action Plan and EEO policies.
  • This position will coordinate and schedule the new-hire orientation for all new-hires.
  • Recruiter maintains applicant tracking log, reports and documentation.

Ideal candidate will have 1-2 years experience recruiting industrial positions in a fast-paced environment. Experience with MS Office and HRIS/ATS systems required. Strong customer service focus and high attention to detail are critical.
