  • Have 3+ years of Quality and Manufacturing experience.
  • Have the technical experience and knowledge base to create Quality Control Plans.
  • Can perform Root Cause Analysis and develop Corrective Action Plans (8-D).
  • Can affectively identify areas of opportunity and lead process improvement activities.
  • Have exceptional decision making skills and the ability to effectively determine the quality of product prior to releasing to production or shipping.
  • Effectively utilize Quality Assurance audit systems and audit techniques.
  • Have experience with Quality Assurance processes and documentation to meet company quality standards (ISO 9001:2015 Standard).
  • Have experience reading and understanding drawings, SOP’s, inspection reports, and AQL sampling plans.
  • Have the ability to transfer, share, and relay information and statuses across shifts.
  • Have experience using gauges, measuring tools, and inspection equipment.
  • Can take initiative to drive development in the Quality Department, team personnel, and facility operations.


  • Bachelor of Science Degree in Quality, Engineering, Manufacturing or a related Technical Degree (preferred)

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

The QC Coordinator can:

  • Create Quality Control Plans and affectively implement and monitor
  • Perform Root Cause Analysis and develop Corrective Action Plans
  • Perform testing, measurements, and evaluations of manufactured products such as angle and/or straight valves, fittings, barbs, corroflex, ballcock nuts, etc. 
  • Effectively use Quality Assurance systems and equipment to access, print, and utilize documents like drawings, procedures, and standards.
  • Effectively use flow charts to accurately explain how products flow through the various production departments.
  • Identify and understand products by using industry terminology, part names, and product descriptions (ie. angle valve, straight valve, corroflex, ballcock nuts, etc).
  • Effectively utilize computer filing systems to access data files, perform data entry, and produce computer generated reports.
  • Accurately list Quality Assurance audit points for each department by using and understanding the Quality Assurance production audit system.
  • Receive and process product parts through inspection functions (ie. sampling, evaluating, recording, reporting, rejecting and releasing product for production).
  • Effectively act as a liaison between Quality, Production, Engineering, etc to communicate product status and conformity.
  • Perform inspections, testing, and audits with the appropriate tools/gages/equipment, and then effectively communicate or escalate results.

Training or Certifications:

  • Certified Quality Engineer
  • ISO 9001 experience
  • Six Sigma Green Belt Certification
  • DPT Certified
  •  Air Under Water Testing Certified

Competencies and Skills:

  • Affectively work in a fast paced and high volume environment.
  • Good communication skills.
  • Basic math skills.
  • Computer literate for data entry and documenting reports.
  • Good time management skills.
  • Can understand and comply with company safety standards and federal regulations.
  • Must be a team player across departments.
  • Consistently maintain a clean work area (knowledge of 5S preferred).

Physical Demands:

  • Must be able to lift 10 – 20 lbs. frequently.
  • Must be able to lift 20 – 35 lbs. occasionally.
  • Must be able to easily grasp products and other materials.

Work Environment:

  • Climate-controlled, noisy environment.
  • Safety Oriented.
  • Fast paced and high product volume.
