JOB SCOPE/ SUMMARY:

  • Consults with Project Management Team to understand the project scope to develop, coordinate and implement all tasks related to a specific project.
  • Coordinate and manage information technology projects to support on-going system operations, planned enhancements or implementations.
  • Collaborate with team members, vendors, and/or customers of all demographics and professional levels to achieve project success.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

  • Conduct preliminary project analysis and assessment on new project requests.
  • Manage the entire project life cycle in order to meet business goals.
  • Conduct feasibility studies of high priority projects and evaluate alternate implementation of services and systems, including business justification and risk assessment.
  • Coordinate with the Project Management team on various aspects of projects.
  • Work with supervisor to prepare and maintain processes and procedures which are used by the Project Management Office and other IT team members who act in the capacity of a Project Manager.
  • Prepare presentations and related charts and provide timely communications to management and other key members on project status.
  • Work closely with the various user departments to identify and select project priorities, create plans, define, document and implement projects. 
  • Work closely with various IT and business units to coordinate information systems development plans and provide support with systems integration.
  • Work various hours and/or extended hours as needed to support a global workforce.

JOB QUALIFICATIONS:

EXPERIENCE/EDUCATION/TRAINING:

  • Certified Associate in Project Management (CAPM®) or working towards certification
  • Knowledgeable in Project Management methodologies in order to develop project objectives to effectively manage the activities of the team.
  • Educational attainment equivalent to a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field
  • Understanding of information systems and technology (ERP, Mobility, Web, Kiosks, and Infrastructure)
  • Intermediate to advanced experience with MS Project, Visio, PowerPoint and Excel
  •  Minimum of 2 years of relevant work experience

KNOWLEDGE/SKILLS/ABILITIES:

  • Knowledge of general business operations and functions
  • Ability to plan and manage projects and activities related to information system
  • Ability to establish effective interpersonal relations
  • Ability to effectively communicate, both orally and in writing

SPECIAL REQUIREMENTS:

Demonstrate the ability of the above essential requirements with instruction and limited supervision
