We are seeking a Production Planner to join our Production Control team!


Do you consider yourself an individual who enjoys solving production puzzles? The Production Planner is responsible for the planning, scheduling, tracking and inventory of several spa production lines, from receipt of sales order to shipment, in accordance with lean manufacturing. This position requires use of analytical and quantitative methods to ensure production lines are planned according to company objectives. This position works extensively with the production staff to accurately report production data. We are looking for a self-starter with a desire to achieve in a rigorous, production environment.


  • Are you a skilled scheduler? You will plan and prepare multi-level production schedules for manufacture of commercial products in a high-volume manufacturing environment. You’ll also draw up daily schedules to establish sequence and lead time to meet shipping dates according to sales forecasts and customer orders.
  • Are you detail-oriented? You’ll be responsible for monitoring inventory levels of work in progress (WIP) and finished product to enable sustained shipments and to support the shipment and inventory plan.
  • Are you proficient with ERP systems?  You will perform various functions in the MRP/ERP system such as: create, process and backflush production orders, inventory adjustments, serial number tracking, maintain order parameters on items, and run reports.
  • Can you work independently? Your daily work will involve prioritizing and planning accordingly for anticipated material shortages based on supply and demand.  You will also review and approve change orders, temporary deviations, and new item set-up.
  • Can you work cross-functionally?  You will participate in the company’s New Product Introduction (NPI) program and support all planning activities surrounding NPI.
  • Are you quality minded? You will participate in the company’s Continuous Improvement/Lean program to better examine and improve upon the supply chain cycle.
  • Are you customer centric? You’ll confer with department supervisors to determine the status of assigned projects and interface with multiple departments of the organization including Production and Dealer Support staff.


  • Bachelor's degree preferred, not required.
  • One to three (1-3) years’ experience working in a Supply Chain function is desired.  The equivalent combination of education and/or related experience may be considered.
  • Proficient user in Microsoft Office suite, specifically Excel.
  • Must be able to prepare reports, worksheets, charts, schedules, and other data as necessary.
  • Experience with ERP systems is preferred.
  • Able to present information to a group of co-workers, supervisors, managers or higher-level executives.
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to interact with all levels within the organization.
  • Strong ability to work in a team environment.
