Come build the future with us!  We are looking for an experienced Production Planner who accurately ensure optimal levels of inventory, provide excellent customer service and maintaining above target fill rates to our customers.

What you will bring:

  • 3-5 years of experience in a Production Planning, Purchasing or Inventory Control position

  • Community College Diploma or University Degree, Preferably in Supply Chain Management or related field

  • Demonstrated excellence in analysis and decision-making
  • Above average computer skills (Office – Excel, Word, Outlook)
  • Experience using JD Edwards, an asset
  • APICS Courses, Certification an asset

What you will do:

  • Coordinate short- and long-term production planning to meet or exceed fill service rate goals
  • Develop and maintain production schedules for assigned departments including timely release
  • Timely release of updated schedules.
  • Maintenance of schedules and work orders.
  • Schedule integrity/feasibility analysis.
  • Adjusting production dates to accommodate deliveries of required components.
  • Daily maintenance and issuance of reports as required  (DPL, Priority etc)
  • Coordinate sub-contract operations (if required)
  • Release and coordinate flow of materials to outside plating/vendors
  • Validate receipts of materials from outside platers/vendors
