Masco Cabinetry has an immediate opening for a Production Scheduling Specialist, in Middlefield, OH!

JOB SUMMARY:

Plans, schedules, and monitors business for the Cardell channel. Integrates Logistics, Unidata, and Microsoft office skills to understand and identify internal scheduling and production of the Cardell channel.


FUNCTIONAL RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Review daily orders and assure that they are scheduled in a timely manner.
  • Review production requirements and assure that procurement has needed inventory to produce orders.
  • Develop BOM and production control process understanding in order to assist in problem solving.
  • Analyze potential impact of forecast and production schedule changes on component procurement and production volume.
  • Ensure consistency between customer demand information and production build schedules.
  • Develop and implement scheduling improvement initiatives.
  • Assist in execution of plant continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Additional duties as assigned.

ESSENTIAL QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLS:

  • Two or more years of related materials planning and production control experience.
  • Advanced proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Advanced understanding of Unidata (Dock, Prod, and DP).
  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
  • Demonstrated successful ability to build positive partnerships and work collaboratively with cross-functional business teams.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to interact with external customers.
  • Ability to function at a high level of effectiveness, flexibility, independence and initiative without daily interaction with management.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLS:

  • MV query experience
  • Experience in long term projects and presentations
  • BOM, part number, and manufacturing familiarity
