 I.      PURPOSE OF THE JOB

Under the direction of the department Supervisor, coordinates the movement of material between warehouses and/or outside vendors. Coordinates the work orders for work centers and handles expedites within the department. Ensures that inventory is kept accurate. Maintains records and updates spreadsheets to track work orders.

II.      ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Coordinates the movement of material in and out of the department.
  • Issues work orders to employees by work center.
  • Follows through with first articles work orders.
  • Make corrections to on hand inventory via SMT submittals.
  • Expedites material needed within the department
  • Un-issues material from work orders.
  • Adhere to and promotes all company safety rules and requirements.

III.      SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • N/A

IV.      KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Knowledge of computers and Microsoft Office applications
  • Good organizational skills
  • Ability to use keyboard and “ten key”.
  • Ability to speak and read basic English
  • One-year experience in data entry.
  • Highly motivated and able to work with little supervision
  • Able to make judgment decisions in accordance with good business practices.
  • Syteline experience preferred.

V.      PHYSICAL DEMAND

  • Capable of lifting up to 20 pounds.
  • Requires sitting at a computer terminal for extended periods of time, use of mouse and keyboard.

VI.      WORKING CONDITIONS AND ENVIRONMENT

•         Exposure to shop elements such as noise, dust, fumes, cold and heat.

  • Require foot, eye, and/or hearing protection while on shop floor and any other required PPE
