We are actively seeking a Production Associate to join our team in Mooresville, NC!

Work Responsibilities:

As the Production Associate, you will:

  • Support quality standards
  • Maintain a clean and safe work place in accordance with 5S protocol
  • Communicate material needs for future capacity requirements
  • Support the Inventory Control System
  • Inspect merchandise, checking for quality and condition
  • Distribute items to their proper location considering all factors
  • Input clear customer account notes in internal computer systems
  • Maintain a safe and organized work environment.
  • Other tasks as required to meet team goals

Diverse Skills and Experience That You Will Bring to the Role:

  • High School diploma or equivalent required
  • 1-2 years of prior production or warehouse experience
  • Understanding of Inventory Management Systems
  • Ability to organize and manage multiple tasks; ability to plan and think ahead
  • Demonstrated organizational skills with strong attention to detail
  • Prior experience in a distribution, warehouse, or other inventory handling environment
  • Committed to company values; striving for achievement of MRSS mission
  • Demonstrate strong customer orientation
  • Act as a role model in adherence of MRSS policies and guidelines
  • Possess excellent time-management abilities, high motivation and independence
  • Illustrate sense of urgency, flexibility and ability to work in a changing work environment where continuous improvement is encouraged
  • Demonstrate competency in effective relationship building and communication
  • Ability to gain trust and respect of associates at all levels of the organization
  • Meticulous attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines
  • Ability to perform varied and repetitive warehouse tasks including operation of forklift, hand truck and manual lifting of boxes between 50 – 100 pounds.
  • The ability and willingness to travel overnight as necessary – travel 30-40%
