JOB SUMMARY:

Responsible for supporting and executing the overall marketing strategy for branded product communications with key constituents (consumers, designers, merchants and sales team).


PRINCIPAL FUNCTIONAL RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Work in collaboration with advertising agency to assist in briefing, developing and executing marketing and communication materials within the dealer and retail channels to drive designer loyalty and consumer preference.
  • Support product launches with commercialization planning, marketing material development, project management and plan execution.
  • Review and approve the specification, design and execution of collateral and supporting material developed by external agencies.
  • Design and execute analyses of available data to help support decision making and strategy development.
  • Participate in the review of merchandising centers designs and showroom displays in conjunction with Customer Strategy Team to ensure alignment with brand positioning. Monitor to ensure displays are maintained to a high quality standard and are a strong representative of the KraftMaid brand.

ESSENTIAL QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLS:

  • Bachelor’s degree in marketing, business or related field.
  • Proficient computer skills required including Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Demonstrated successful ability to build positive partnerships and work collaboratively with cross-functional business teams.
  • Strong quantitative and qualitative analysis skills. Ability to find summary conclusions from analyses and communicate results and implications to key stakeholders.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to interact with internal and external customers.
  • Excellent project management and budgeting skills with a deadline orientation and focus.
  • Ability to travel up to 10%.
  • 1-3 years marketing communication experience.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLS:

  • 5+ years marketing communication experience.
  • Prior copywriting work experience.
  • Retail display and merchandising experience.
  • Ability to manage collateral and merchandising materials in multiple retail environments.
