Delta Faucet Company has an awesome opportunity for a Product Manager on our Marketing team!


The role of this category captain is for Bathing products within Delta Faucet Company, As Product Manager they are responsible for the product life-cycle from conception to obsolescence.


Nature & Scope:

Accountability for this position is for the Bathing product portfolio. The product line and sales efforts today center around Retail and e-Business channels. The keys to success in this role are collaboration with the customers / account teams to optimize the existing portfolio, while developing new products that meet unmet consumer needs and push the boundaries of the category.


Principal Accountabilities:

  • Manage strategically important product line by establishing scope of the product offerings in terms of price points, features and benefits within the context of the brand strategy and competitive set.
  • Manage new product development to bring competitive products to market. Proactively evolve the product offering from insights of business trends.
  • Consistently analyze the customer / competitor mix to ensure products are positioned appropriately.
  • Bring meaningful innovation to continue to drive category direction.
  • Ensure financial targets are met through product line management, the conception/prioritization of new product development, and value engineering initiatives.
  • Serve a key role as liaison on behalf of account teams & customers internally.

Experience/Skills/Knowledge:

The ideal candidate will possess a B.S. in a business field (advanced degree - MBA - desirable, but not essential) and 5 or more years of practical marketing/product development experience; or equivalent combination of education and experience. Proficiency in Microsoft office applications required. Experience in plumbing products is preferred. Successful candidate will possess demonstrated project, time management skills and highly developed communication skills. Demonstrated ability to objectively analyze data is required. Must be able to excel in a team environment and have a well-developed understanding of sales and marketing strategies.
