Job scope/ summary

This position provides analytical support to the Operation Leadership Team for all Indirect Materials categories. In addition, the position leads small sourcing projects, works with the Operations Teams to deploy category strategies, monitors procurement compliance to agreements, tracks supplier performance, and participates on Continuous Improvement Teams. This position also leads Continuous Improvement projects to build best class practices within the Procurement Function. Working safely is part

  • Provide analytical support for indirect categories, establish annual cost standards, project budget analysis and monthly KPS reports, monitor and resolve purchase order price variances.
  • Financial and operational analysis including TCO
  • Ensure accuracy of data content in SAP Procurement systems
  • Leverage operational data to drive continual process improvement, including automation of existing processes
  • Conducts deep data dives to identify category insights
  • Prepare RFI and RFP’s. Analyze RFP results
  • Participate in supplier selection and negotiations
  • Lead small sourcing projects and tactical sourcing initiatives
  • Collaborate with stakeholders on negotiation strategy, validation of cost avoidance (savings), value added items, and supplier performance feedback.
  • Ensure implementation of category strategy at the local level - work with buyers to effectively communicate and deploy agreements
  • Monitor key cost drivers for categories and communicate significant changes that could lead to risk mitigation or opportunity realization.
  • Ensure procurement activities comply with all Masco policies and procedures including legal and regulatory
  • Maintain efficient and courteous relationship with peers, suppliers, and internal customers



Bachelor’s degree in finance, economics or accounting or a related field or equivalent work experience

Minimum of 5 years experience in analysis, financial and/or operational reporting roles, financial fiduciary responsibility roles


Mastery of financial reporting concepts including modeling

Knowledge of MS Office Suites and/or software applications related to job functions

Proficient at Excel/financial analysis and planning

Ability to turn complex data into meaningful reports

Strong organizational and communication skills

Exposure strategic sourcing, procurement, contract administration, and/or project management processes

Analytically adept with strong financial analysis and reporting skills and keen attention to detail Good reasoning; ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions

Self-starter with ability to multi-task, make sound business decisions, and thrive working independently and on teams.
