Position Summary
My Service Center, our Employee Benefits and Payroll Service Center is seeking a Payroll Administrator to support our various business units. The incumbent will partner and work directly with key internal and external stakeholders to process payroll. The ideal candidate will have an intimate knowledge of the Workday Payroll module and a passion for delivering excellent customer service to our business units. If not familiar with Workday, the ideal candidate will be eager to learn a new system.

Primary Duties and Responsibilities:

•     Ensures timekeeping files and payrolls are processed according to Company guidelines

•     Collects, organizes and enters payroll data and maintains related payroll records

•     Assists with payroll funding and balancing

•     Assists Tax Accountant with tax research and filings

•     Assists with required General Ledger entries and research

•     Receives, processes and responds to garnishment orders

•     Provides payroll expertise to others on the team

•     Documents and updates procedures

•     Prepares payroll reports and assists employees and other departments with payroll- related questions

•     Troubleshoots system issues and escalate when necessary

•     Becomes cross-trained for other service center dedicated teams and participate in special projects

•     Participates in special projects including process improvement teams and technology implementations

•     May require to work some extended business hours and holidays (flex time available) to meet all US geographic locations, as needed

Qualifications and Requirements:

•     Payroll processing experience in a large multi-state, multi-company environment

•     Workday payroll experience preferred

•     Working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite, and advanced knowledge of Excel

•     Familiar with basic accounting principles

•     High School Diploma required, pursuing college degree desired

•     Customer service driven, detail oriented

•     Excellent communication skills

•     Exhibit confidence, energy and enthusiasm

•     Ability to work independently and as part of a team

•     Must be a quick learner with strong work ethic and ability to adapt to a fast paced environment

•     Capable of handling multiple tasks while meeting various deadlines
