Job Summary:


The intern will be placed into our bridge program for supervisors and be exposed to all the training a newly hired supervisor would receive. The candidate will work directly on the shop floor supporting manufacturing functions on a daily basis. The intern will learn and perform tasks related to the MOS (Management Operating System). The intern will participate in a Kaizen or other CI event. A portion of the internship will be focused around the finishing processes at Plant 2 and understand the various quality controls. Supply chain management, materials management, equipment assessment and process flow will be in scope.

Essential Skills:

Strong working knowledge of Microsoft applications including Outlook, Word, and Excel

Strong communication, organizational, interpersonal, and computer skills

Ability to work collaboratively as well as independently in a dynamic and entrepreneurial environment

Detail oriented, self-starter

Project management and problem solving skills


Education:

Currently enrolled in secondary education program related to manufacturing

Pursuing a Bachelor Degree in Business or a related discipline
