Job Description

JOB SCOPE/ SUMMARY:

  • Work strategically with BEHR Leaders within the Commercial Sales and Marketing teams to instill a Continuous Improvement culture supported by MOS tools and training.
  • Collaborate, recognize and prioritize highest impact CI opportunities within the Commercial Sales & Marketing functions.
  • Coordinate development and execution of CI Project Pipeline within the Commercial Sales and Marketing functions.
  • Train and develop Commercial Sales and Marketing Leaders in the Kaizen Leadership Process.
  • Directly support Commercial Sales Leadership to achieve strategic objectives through the use of developed MOS tools, conducting workshops including PSP RCCM and Kaizen events.
  • Develop talent throughout BEHR through teaching, coaching and mentorship.
  • Help drive best Masco “best practices” across the BU.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

  • Through MOS frameworks lead process improvement, capability building, and growth activities across the organization.
  • Teach and assist others in the use of Lean tools such as Kaizen, BPI (Business Process Improvement), VSM (Value Stream Maps), PSP (Problem Solving Process), and RCCM (Root Cause Counter Measure).
  • Assist Functional Leadership in the development of the strategy and execution of Kaizen Leadership Process utilizing a Kaizen Pipeline.
  • Train, develop and certify Lean practitioners in the MOS toolset.
  • Drive results in sales growth and total cost productivity (TCP) savings.

EDUCATION:

  • Minimum of a Bachelor’s degree in related discipline; preferably Business, Finance, Sales, Marketing, or Engineering.
  • MBA or MS degree is preferred.

WORK EXPERIENCE:

  • Minimum of 7-10 years of business experience; robust experience with customer facing roles in Sales, Marketing, Product Management, Operations, Finance or like roles.
  • 3-5 years experience leading high impact continuous improvement strategy and programs.
  • Demonstrated knowledge and track record of delivering results in a high performance, continuous improvement environment through process optimization and facilitation.
  • Experience in the development and implementation of continuous improvement tools and training curriculum preferred.
  • Previous experience with commercial sales and/or marketing function preferred.
