Position Summary

The ability to execute and support in a collaborative and creative team environment successful graphic multi-media video, motion graphics, photography, production, layout and design in support of internal sales training team, and the Color and Creative Marketing teams.

Key areas of responsibility

  • Support/lead photography, video content creation and editing for key company projects.
  • Provide collaborative conceptual support to the entire Creative Services team. 

  • Work with Graphic Artists, Production Artists, Internal Clients, Art Manager and/or the Art Director to determine the scope of a project. 

  • Assist in managing the workload and project management of the team to ensure timelines and due dates are met. 

  • Artistic ability- Media Specialist must be able to create and produce designs from start to finish that succeed in communicating the direction of our internal customer in a visually interesting and appealing manner. An advanced understanding of balancing Layout, Design, Typography and Color to achieve a variety of creative goals.
  • Communication skills- Media Specialist must communicate with Production Artists, Graphic Artists, Clients, Vendors and Customers to ensure their designs and production accurately reflect the desired brand, product message and cross-functional input. 

  • Analytical skills- Media Specialist must be able to look at their work, and the work of the team from the point of view of their consumers and examine how the designs they develop will be perceived by the consumer to ensure they convey the client’s desired message. 

  • Creativity- Must be able to work independently and collaboratively, and serve the development, direction and production of video and photo projects.
  • Time-management skills- Media Specialist frequently work on multiple projects at the same time, each with different deadlines. Specialist must be able to self-manage their workload, and the workload of the team to quickly respond to changing direction and deadlines. 

  • Process Updates- Media Specialist are responsible for working with the managers and the team to develop and/or refine processes and procedures to ensure continuous improvement throughout Creative Services in our support of our internal customer. 

  • Proofing- Media Specialist are responsible for reviewing and approving proofs received from the customer/vendor, and communicating any specific direction, revision and/or approvals. 

  • Image editing- cleaning, sizing and color correcting for use in PR, web and social media platforms.
  • Work collaboratively with project teams in multiple departments.
  • Support color and graphic request needs from other departments.

Additional responsibilities may include:

  • Producing/adjusting finished design work and packaging final designs for vendors.
  • Masking and color correcting images.
  • Coordinate appropriate delivery timelines for projects with vendors and for interdepartmental requests.
  • Manage departmental assets in DAM system


• Must be a College or Design School Graduate (Associate or Bachelor degree)

• 2+ years working as a Graphic Artist, Multi-Media Artist or Designer

• Knowledge of the printing process

• Excellent verbal and communication skills

• Detail oriented

• Ability to Self-Manage

• Extremely organized

• Strong computer skills (Adobe Creative Suite: Premiere, After Effects, InDesign, Illustrator and Photoshop)

• Studio experience in Video, Photography Production and Editing and Web Design.


  • Applicant must be a self-starter and an independent worker.
  • Applicant must have basic knowledge of color theory and be comfortable working with color.
  • Applicant must be comfortable working with a Mac and/or a PC.
  • Applicant must be detailed oriented, be able to multitask, and manage graphic requests.
  • Applicant must be familiar with social media sites such as Facebook, Twitter, Pinterest, Instagram.
  • Good organizational, time management, customer service and problem-solving skills are a must.
  • Ability to work accurately, even with interruptions, to meet deadlines.
