Designs, develops and test and/or sources and cost-justifies various tools, machinery and equipment for recommended manufacturing methods. Provides technical support, performs product/process analysis for cost reduction, quality improvement, and improved efficiency. Manages all aspects of assigned engineering projects. Manages project budgets, including outside suppliers and contractors. Leads new equipment purchase, installation/implementation and training team members. Represents manufacturing on cross functional teams. Performs all other duties as assigned.


Requires a Master’s degree in Mechanical, Industrial or Manufacturing Engineering or a related field. Requires knowledge of or experience in the following: Lean Manufacturing, Kaziens and Continuous Improvement; Computer Skills including Microsoft Office Suite; 3D design software such as AutoCAD and ProE, with the ability to interpret, design and modify tooling and machine layout drawing. Requires travel to other plant locations in Texas, North Carolina and Taiwan up to 25% of the time.
