  • Controlling RS 6000 inventory transactions in all inventory locations of the department.
  • Inventory accuracy.
  • Coordinating and expediting the flow of materials, parts, and assemblies between sections and/or departments by performing the duties below.

  • Reviews production schedules and related information and confers with department supervisors to determine material requirements, identify overdue materials, and to track material.
  • Requisitions material and establishes sequential delivery dates to departments according to job order priorities and material availability.
  • Monitors status of all past due orders.
  • Arranges in-plant transfer of materials to meet production schedules.
  • Computes amount of material required to complete job orders.
  • Compiles and maintains manual or computerized records such as material inventory, in-process production reports, and status and location of materials.
  • Moves or transports materials from one department to another.
  • Arranges for repair and/or assembly of material or part.
  • Monitors and controls input and output of material through department.
  • Trains AS400 users as needed.
  • Other duties as assigned.

  • Prolonged standing and repetitive motions, bending, stooping, pushing, and pulling
  • May be required to frequently lift up to 80 lbs
  • Hand dexterity and strength
  • Overtime is required, including weekends
  • May be required to work a flexible schedule


    Must have a good overall work record, including a satisfactory attendance record and be self-motivated.  Must possess good communication skills, have the ability to lift medium to heavy objects, and to push up to 100 pounds on carts. Demonstrates a commitment to safety at all times. Employees in this position are required to follow established safety rules and promote the overall safety and health program at Masco Cabinetry in the performance of their duties
