We are seeking a Master Repair Person on our 1st Shift from 8:30 am to 5:00 pm in our Finishing Dept. 423.  We offer competitive wages, excellent benefits and employee discounts on a wide range of products.

  • Supports production throughput, quality, and on-time delivery goals by repairing whitewood and painted product to achieve a 30% reduction of Internal Reject costs.
  • Reviews rejected doors for determination of repairability.  
  • Performs difficult repairs to prevent disposal of otherwise non-repairable defects on completed doors. 
  • Develops and administers training sessions for basic door repair methods.
  • Trains inspection and repair personnel to quality standards and work instructions. Establishes performance standards, and provides individual feedback to each employee through an approved   scoring system. Works with each employee to sustain acceptable levels of performance.
  • Ensures effective new-hire employee training through coaching and development for general door repair.
  • Audits the quality of quality inspectors and general door repair personnel to provide performance feedback relative to major and minor defects in completed doors.
  • Participates in scrap alert review processes.
  • Works with leads and inspection and repair personnel to manage the disposition of non-conforming product.
  • Travel required in support of Supplier On-site Program, at Plant 3, and possibly other locations.
  • Other duties as assigned.

  • Prolonged standing and repetitive motions, bending, stooping, pushing, and pulling
  • May be required to frequently lift up to 80 lbs
  • Hand dexterity and strength
  • Overtime is required, including weekends
  • May be required to work a flexible schedule


    Must have a good overall work record, including a satisfactory attendance record and be self-motivated.  Must possess good communication skills, have the ability to lift medium to heavy objects, and to push up to 100 pounds on carts. Demonstrates a commitment to safety at all times. Employees in this position are required to follow established safety rules and promote the overall safety and health program at Masco Cabinetry in the performance of their duties
