Purpose:

The Manufacturing Co-Op will work alongside Advanced Manufacturing and Continuous Improvement engineers to solve manufacturing problems, improve various processes, incorporate new technology, and reduce costs for Delta Faucet Company. You have the opportunity to work with many levels of our company and gain exposure to multiple functions of the business. As the MFG Co-Op, you will gain experience in Continuous Improvement processes (kaizen, A3, Six-Sigma), Automation, Capital Expenditure/Approval, Data Analysis, and Industry 4.0. Sessions at the Corporate office will report to an AMG Engineer and sessions at our Greensburg plant will work with the CI Manager.

Responsibilities:

  • Participate in Continuous Improvement events, such as Kaizens, to help solve manufacturing issues; May involve reporting out results to Plant and Corporate Management
  • Assist in or Lead capital expenditure projects and gain approval to develop capital equipment/systems
  • Perform data analysis to help drive decisions in process improvement and costs savings initiatives
  • Work with engineers to incorporate and help execute our Industry 4.0 roadmap
  • Maintain flexibility for possible travel to our manufacturing facilities in Michigan, Kentucky, and Tennessee.
  • Have the ability to interact with people across all levels of the company; from floor associates to our Executive Leadership Team.

Education & Experience:

  • Enrolled in a college degree focused in Automation, Robotics, Manufacturing, Industrial or Mechanical Engineering (Technology)
  • Must be able to drive/travel alone to alternate locations
