This position leads a team of Supply Chain professionals that are focused on the effective execution of new product launches to enable marketplace growth and innovation. 


  • Collaborate with Marketing, Engineering, Quality, Sourcing, and Operations to ensure the effective launch of new products to support Delta’s growth and marketplace presence
  • Directly leads a team of Supply Chain Analysts in the US across most product categories as well as coordinating efforts and best practices with the Delta China Supply Chain and Program Management team for Sanitaryware and Peerless product launches.
  • These team members work on cross functional self-managed New Product Development (NPD) teams and are largely responsible for planning and execution of NPD projects with external suppliers and Delta’s plants and points of distribution.
  • Represent Supply Chain on Delta’s NPD Leadership team to align on priorities and address improvement areas for which to support the company strategy while operating with shared team goals - launch date, start-up costs, contribution margin, delivery performance, quality, volume as well as work cross functionally to reduce project launch timing, etc.
  • Support Commodity Teams and Commodity Leadership team activities as needed
  • Lead and motivate team members. Develop team member capabilities to enable superior execution
  • Develop, maintain, and improve process standards to leverage best-practices for execution consistency and efficiency while enabling appropriate flexibility to support market needs with appropriate levels of risk
  • Utilization of Continuous Improvement methodologies to identify opportunities for us to improve in execution or enhance speed through the elimination of non-value-added activities.
  • Contribute to the strategic direction of the Supply Chain Planning organization to enable Delta’s Supply Chain Planning efforts to be a marketplace differentiator.
  • Ensure goal attainment of financial and performance-based metrics:
    • NPD launch effectiveness, Air Freight, PPAP samples, supplier tooling, PPAP Approvals, Inventory / E&O, etc.

Education & Experience:

  • Degree from a four-year college or university in Business or Engineering

  • 5+ years of Supply Chain Planning, Project Management, or New Product Launch experience

  • 2+ years leading direct reports

  • Experience utilizing CI tools / methods

  • Strong systems skills creating & using data, managing projects, working on and leading teams, developing processes, communication skills, and improving metrics.
