This Quality Manager leads all aspects of the plant Quality Assurance and Control as a member of the Greensburg, Indiana Facility Lead team.

We work with all roles and processes in the manufacturing process, Product Engineers, Purchasing, external suppliers and other Delta-owned plants to assure high-quality, on-time shipments to our customers. You should possess analytical ability, experience in several manufacturing processes and a deep understanding of how successful Quality Systems lead to reduced product variation and happier customers. You will need to make decisions in uncertain environments and synthesize solution options with a bias for action.


  • Lead 15-20 person team, including their expense management, that delivers Quality Engineering, receiving and in-process inspection and auditing, material review board, control of non-conforming material, control and calibration of inspection measuring and test equipment, corrective action and dimensional layout.
  • Understanding Customers - Ability to manage, prioritize and deliver against complex expectations of multiple business partners.
  • Deliver data-based Independent Quality Judgement – ability to balance the needs of the consumer and Delta’s Brand against operating objectives. Ability to stay calm under pressure and standalone, including comfort making decisions in the absence of information.
  • Identify and apply appropriate Quality Planning tools including Process Potential and Capability Analysis, Quality Plans, Failure Modes Effects Analysis and Measurement Systems Analysis to result in Production Part Approval.
  • Collaborate in the development, communication and execution of strategies and initiatives to improve Greensburg’s ability to consistently meet cost, quality, and performance requirements.
  • Gather and analyze performance data to discern insights and problems, identifying root causes, and developing creative options for solutions, applying appropriate fundamental and advanced statistical methods.
  • Lead the plumbing Fixtures and Faucet component laboratory.
  • Facilitate and host External third-party auditors, demonstrating and applying Delta's practices, specifications and industry codes.
  • Handle multiple assigned projects concurrently, with appropriate follow-up and follow-through skills consistently displayed. Independently follow items through to completion


You should have a minimum of 10 years of related experience; or equivalent combination of education and experience. We look for a comprehensive understanding of Advanced Product Quality Planning, metrology, test methods, statistical process control, ISO 9001:2015, ISO 17025:2017 and Lean Manufacturing principles. You should have competency with various computer software applications, including Microsoft Office. Familiarity with SAP and advanced competency in Microsoft Excel and Minitab is helpful. You should display a strong attention to detail and the ability to effectively lead multiple simultaneous activities. Past supervisory and leadership experience is required.

Other Aspects:

This position requires a willingness to travel, domestically and internationally, about 15% of the time. Additionally, the position requires occasional participation in international conference calls (both morning and evening due to time differences).
