Job Description


Responsible for leading the development of new products from ideation through prototyping and stage gate. Leads the new product engineering development team and partners cross functionally with stakeholders across the organization to develop and launch meaningful functional products across the Masco Cabinetry brand portfolio.


  • Lead the engineering development team to bring relevant, innovative, and financially viable products to market by drawing on voice-of-customer research, competitive analysis, sales performance, product strategy, and financial objectives
  • Work cross functionally with Supply Chain, Operations, Engineering, and Marketing to bring new product designs and innovations to market.
  • Balance long term product horizon with short term projects that align with financial targets.
  • Manage and track new products and documentation through the initial steps of the stage gate process.
  • Establish and maintain development, performance testing, consumer testing, prototyping, project documentation, and stage gate processes that drive consistent innovation aligned with strategic direction.
  • Manage and plan ideation sessions, related research, and third party development efforts
  • Develop, test, and institute new processes for greater success and efficiency.
  • Report on and maintain up to date project tracking documentation for assigned projects.


  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Industrial Design, or similar.
  • 4+ years’ experience in design, engineering, innovation, or product development.
  • Excellent organizational skills, including ability to multi-task and prioritize workload.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Demonstrated successful ability to work collaboratively with various departments.
  • Demonstrated innovative and strategic thinking required, as well as a successful track record implementing tactical solutions that result in measurable business benefits
  • Proficient computer skills required including extensive knowledge of Microsoft Excel and 3-D modeling
  • Familiarity with AutoCAD and Creo
