Purpose:

Delta Faucet is seeking an all-star employee to lead Delta's Supplier Quality group and to help ensure the overall quality and service of our supply base.

Responsibilities:

  • Closely oversee the planning, prioritization, and execution of Supplier Quality activities across multiple locations and countries, and serve as the voice of Supplier Quality at headquarters
  • Actively work with Delta’s manufacturing plants and suppliers to address issues in a timely and fair manner to prevent recurrence while minimizing the impact to downstream customers and the end users
  • Actively participate on the Commodity Leadership Team, Quality Leadership Team, and Engineering & Quality Leadership Teams and ensure quality related activities involving the Commodity Teams, Value Management, and Product Sustainment are properly resourced
  • Ensure quality data (e.g. PPM, PPAP Sustainability, NCM’s, CAR’s) is accurate, timely, and being actively used to monitor & improve supplier’ performance and considered during Sourcing decisions and strategy development
  • Ensure Delta Faucet’s risk in using new suppliers or new processes at existing suppliers is adequately identified, considered, and mitigated.
  • Develop the annual supplier quality audit schedule and ensure its on-time completion
  • Continually seek and implement improvements to Delta’s Engineering and Quality systems, processes, documentation, metrics, etc.

Education & Experience:

  • A 4-year college degree
  • Validated leadership abilities both in leading people and managing projects
  • Prior experience working in Quality and the use of common quality concepts and tools (e.g. PPAP, FMEA’s, APQP, GD&T, R&R Studies)
  • Experience as a lead auditor of quality systems and processes
  • Strong analytical skills and the ability to lead and inspire change (cross-functionally and globally)
  • Proven teamwork, negotiation & conflict resolution skills with experience working well both alone as well as cross-functionally
  • Strong written and verbal interpersonal skills
  • Able and willing to travel ≈ 20% of the time (both domestically and internationally) and to participate in international conference calls (both morning and evening due to time differences)
