The Maintenance Technician is a position responsible for the installation, troubleshooting and maintenance of production equipment and the facility.

  • The employee in this job will spend a training period working on first shift (up to 90 days) and then transition to regular work on the second shift.

    Essential Duties and Responsibilities: (including but not limited to)

    • Build electrical panels, install power drops, wire motors
    • Install and service electronic equipment
    • Load and troubleshoot PLC Ladder Logic – Allen Bradley, Siemens and DeviceNet
    • Program Fanuc robots
    • Perform preventative maintenance
    • Other duties as assigned.

    Education and Experience/Skills:          
    Multi-discipline skills with Robotics, Machine Repair and Electrical systems – certification, license or associates degree required.

    Ability to operate the forklift and/or scissor lift a safe manner and gain license within 3 business days

    Previous experience in a production environment

    High School graduate or GED 
    Ability to interpret reports & analyze data 

    Must be able to: 
    Work independently, make decisions, communicate with others

    Lift, bend and reach, including below waist level and above shoulder level

    Lift, push and pull weights of up to 25lbs frequently and up to 50lbs.occasionally

    Use hands to manipulate parts and machine controls

    Use vision to read labels and inventory sheets
