Directs and coordinates activities of a high-volume production machining department applying knowledge of production methods and processes while utilizing Buffoli Rotary Transfer equipment.


  • Holds regular team meetings to discuss safety related topics and solicit feedback.
  • Plans production operations, establishing priorities and sequences for manufacturing products, utilizing knowledge of production processes and methods, machine and equipment capabilities and staffing requirements.
  • Designs, implements, inspects, and improves production processes and methods to ensure safety, quality, and production targets are met.
  • Manages Preventative Maintenance program and schedules time and resources as needed to complete tasks.
  • Evaluate condition of equipment, identify required spare parts, and ensure they are available.
  • Supervises, trains, and evaluates staff on a regular basis.
  • Coordinates with Machine Shop Supervisors on other shifts to synchronize efforts and build a strong, inclusive, team-oriented department.
  • Collaborate with engineering department to identify opportunities and improve design of tooling, layouts, and processes.
  • Communicates with other departments to support production needs.
  • Able to travel up to 15%+
  • Performs other related duties as needed and assigned.


  • Familiarity with the plumbing industry and products.
  • Experience with ISO 9001 & ISO 14001 systems.
