We are seeking a Logistics Intern to join our Supply Chain team!

IN A NUTSHELL

This is a unique internship opportunity to work with our Supply Chain team for approximately three months over the summer.  In this internship, you will learn about expense and revenue analysis, while growing your presentation and communication skills.

WHAT YOU’LL DO

• Are you skilled at creating models? You’ll develop models for current full truckload and per spa freight rates to Dealers.  You will also develop alternative freight pricing models to determine impact of changes to freight rates on Dealers. 
• Do you enjoy research? You will collect revenue and expense data for truckload shipments.
• Are you a team player? You’ll work with a cross-functional team to understand the collected data and how revenues are calculated.
• Are you analytical? You will determine the average truckload freight loss for multi-stop and full truckload shipments.
• Can you forecast? You will forecast the budgetary impact of the losses if rates to Dealers remain the same.  You’ll also determine the impact to prepaid shipment volume, will call, and increase in costs to Dealers if pricing is changed.
• Are you a strong communicator? At the end of the summer, you will present/communicate the results of your analysis.

WHAT YOU NEED

• To be actively pursuing a degree in Business Management, Supply Chain, or another directly related field at an accredited college or university.
• Overall and major-specific GPA must be a minimum 3.0 or higher.
• Knowledge of Supply Chain is a plus.
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to interact with all levels within the organization.
• Strong ability to work in a team environment.
• Must be authorized to work in the United States (will be hired through a temporary agency).
