Masco Cabinetry has an immediate opening for a Logistics Director at our corporate headquarters in Ann Arbor, MI!

Responsible for inbound, interplant, outbound, and final mile logistics budgets, carrier relationships and performance, and movement of all raw materials, work in process materials, and finished goods. This position will be the face of Logistics and must apply forward thinking towards improving the customer delivery experience, raising carrier service levels, and maintaining or reducing overall logistics costs. Cross functional relationships with internal departments (sales, marketing, finance, and manufacturing) and key customers are essential to success in this role.


  • Provide direction and leadership for the Logistics team responsible for inbound, interplant, outbound, and final mile routing and movement of materials and finished goods
  • Be the face of Logistics through regular interaction with key stakeholders, internal manufacturing locations, and key customers, including cross functional support of new product launches and initiatives.
  • Develop and monitor key performance indicators for the Logistics function including maintaining or reducing overall Logistics costs
  • Lead root cause analysis and corrective action of Logistics KPI’s
  • Develop and adhere to the departmental functional budget
  • Strengthen the current service model for improved customer experience
  • Create, develop, and implement network strategies in line with an agile manufacturing strategy
  • Develop and maintain relationships with key carriers
  • Drive value proposition success and sustained improvement in delivery service and quality, both internal and external, for all product lines
  • Coordinate Logistics involvement in Masco-wide initiatives with Masco Corporate Logistics


  • Bachelor’s degree
  • 10 years of experience in Supply Chain and Logistics within a manufacturing environment with increasing levels of responsibility
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to interact with all levels of the organization
  • Experience with continuous improvement and change management activities
  • Demonstrated performance of creating and implementing global logistics solutions and strategies
  • Ability to manage several complex projects/initiatives simultaneously
  • Consistent track record leading successful, high visibility negotiations and contracts
  • Demonstrated successful capability to resolve conflict over sensitive or complex issues
  • Demonstrated successful leadership, including personnel and organization development
  • Proficient computer skills required including Microsoft Office Suite
  • Ability to travel up to 50%


  • MBA or Master’s Degree in a Business related field
  • Experience with direct to home delivery model
  • Familiarity with the cabinet industry
  • Experience with DOT compliance
  • Experience with Import Compliance
  • Demonstrated performance as a change agent
